Manitoba PNP: Latest EOI Draw Issues 217 ITAs For Canada PR

In the most recent Manitoba's Expression of Interest draw conducted on 27 February 2020, a sum of 217 candidates obtained invitations to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination. The invitations to apply are also called Letters of Advice to Apply, went to contestants belonging to the International Education Stream; Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream; and Skilled Workers Overseas Stream beneath the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program(M.P.N.P). The break-down of invitations to apply announced is as follows:

• 161 ITAs announced for Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream
• 32 ITAs announced for International Education Stream
• 24 ITAs announced for Skilled Workers Overseas Stream

Among these, 20 invitations to apply went to Express Entry contestants.

Manitoba PNP's Expression of Interest (EOI)

The EOI draw conducted on 27 February 2020 is the 84th Manitoba EOI draw. In 2020 a sum of 1075 invitations to apply have been announced by the Manitoba EOI draws so far. To be deemed for a provincial nomination, applicants belonging to the Skilled Workers in Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams of MPNP should first submit an EOI (Expression of Interest).

Based on multiple factors like age, educational level, work experience, past connections to Manitoba province and language knowledge, each EOI profile is evaluated and granted a score out of 1000 points. The highest-scoring contestants get invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. In the latest EOI draw, the minimum needed score for Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream was 499 points and for Skilled Workers in Overseas stream was 707 points.

Three Streams of Manitoba PNP

To be qualified to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination for the Skilled Workers in Overseas stream, the contestants must have a prior connection to Manitoba province in the form of close family members or friends who are residing in the province, prior education or relevant skilled work experience in the Manitoba province, or an invitation obtained by one of the MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives and satisfy other conditions. The applicant doesn't need to be in Manitoba province while submitting the application. The 24 applicants who received invitations by the Skilled Workers in Overseas stream in the recent EOI draw secured invitations straight from the M.P.N.P beneath a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Below the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, the applicant should be working in Manitoba province and have a full-time, permanent offer of a job from their organization to be eligible.
