The PNP of New Brunswick has temporarily opened the Express Entry Labor Market Stream and is presently seeking to Expressions of Interest. Moreover there is a fresh list of occupations that get a priority.

Job Additions

The Five new jobs in the list are User Support Technicians, Administrative Assistants and Administrative Officers. Furthermore, the province is seeking kindergarten, elementary, and secondary school teachers who can speak French.

Additionally, two jobs of Health Care Managers and Retail Sales Supervisors are removed.

There is an attendance norm for the Applicants. They must do so in an information session during the past two years.

Points to mention

Such Candidates who are submitting the EOI must include the date and location of the information session they have attended in subject line of email. They must also add the job title and NOC code. In case of non compliance their EOI will not be considered. Moreover, they must meet all the criteria of the New Brunswick Stream.

Criteria for the NB Express Entry Labor Market Stream:

For achieving success in the application process in this category, the candidates must:

Satisfy all eligibility criteria and selection factors of FSWP and obtain 67 points from 100).
Their age must be between 21 and 55 years.
They have to Score CLB 7 in English or French (in writing, reading, listening and speaking).
Complete the secondary school education, either in Canada or it must get an assessment by a specific body if it is studied outside Canada.
Have one year work experience in NOC 0, A or B.
Signing a commitment to reside and work in the province.
Provide evidence of funds, as per the guidelines of the federal government, to establish successfully in the province.
In case the application has a job offer, the provincial Company must have the operating existence for one year on the date of receiving the application.

Other features

Consequently, after reaching the provincial quota the new EOIs face closure.

After closing the temporary opening the authorities will only accept EOIs from persons who are presently working in the province or who have a job offer from a local company.

There is an additional clause also, that the candidates, who are in an occupation, which requires a license/certificate to practice, will have to take more steps before getting the permission to work.

The PG Work Permit holders have no exemption regarding settlement funds in the system. Finally, this does not affect other categories that remain open in the province.
