New Guide Introduced To Help Foreign Employees To Denmark

The Ministry of Integration released a new guide in English aimed at foreign employees and students and their accompanying family members. The guide offers an overview of the possibilities of coming to Denmark in order to work or study, as well as practical information about life in Denmark.

The guide ’Welcome to Denmark – a Guide for Employees and Students from Abroad’ is intended to ease the way into the Danish labour market for highly qualified professionals from abroad and help new citizens find their way around Danish society.

The guide provides useful information about how to obtain a residence permit in Denmark and how to bring one’s family to Denmark. Also, other important information relates to life in Denmark, such as how to access the national health care system, childcare, schools, tax, Danish language classes etc.
