The firms in Canada using the short-term recruitment visa program, TFWP have to implement the new visa changes that include wage requirements and Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to ensure that the priority is given to recruiting the Canadian citizen, in the circumstance of not finding the worker from the local citizen. The employer can hire the foreign national.
The Temporary Foreign Worker Program used by the Canadian firms must apply the changes to the low wage and high wage streams. The both the streams underwent changes; the norms would be active from April 29, 2016.
The TFWP visa program managed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Employment and Social Development Change (ESDC). The new wage rates of the two employment streams are also in effect from April 1.

Canada employers’ must respect the new rules proposed by the Government. They have to adhere to the law of the land. All the companies who are supposed to employ foreign nationals in its industries are expected to have Labor Market Impact Assessment.
Even through the Canada Express Entry applicants must follow the same route. The employers who recruit the foreign nationals must prove that they are unable to find the talent from the local citizens.
