New York University Has The Highest Number Of International Students

The United States New York has the largest number of the international students. The total amounts to 13,851 international students in the America’s modern learning center. The American Universities witnessed 6.2 percent increase in the international students’ enrollment.

The Northeastern University (11,381), University of Southern California (13,080), the University of Illinois and the Columbia University of the United States are in the top five places with the highest number of International students. 

The Universities figured a good number of international students. The data was revealed by the Student and the Exchange Visitor program, the comprehensive report on the number of international students studying in the United States.

Over Seventy percent of international students are from the Asian countries such as India, China, and South Korea. The Indian Students in the United States increased by over 31 percent, presently over 194 000 Indian students are studying in the United States Universities.

Currently over 1.2 million International students are Studying in the United States in vocational and academic courses. The 40 percent of students enrolled in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics courses. 82% of Indian students and 69 % of Chinese students enrolled in the STEM programs of the United States.
