A recent report by Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has revealed that overseas professionals generally do better in Norway than other Scandinavian countries. Report states that 67% of all foreign-born residents in Norway are currently employed.
Denmark comes 2nd with 66% while Sweden is 3rd with 62%. Denmark has the highest immigration rate in Scandinavian region, as the country ranks the happiest and corruption free country in the world.
“The foreign-born population is less likely to be employed than their native-born counterparts,” in all three countries. This discrepancy is partly driven by differences in age and educational distributions. The gap between the two groups tends to get wider for both men and women after accounting for these differences.”
