Norwegian Industry Expects Further Growth

The Federation of Norwegian Industries expects a total growth in turnover of 6 per cent this year. A continued growing demand from the Norwegian Shelf is the driving force behind the growth.

This is the main point in Norsk Industri's economic review just released.

The review states that the oil related companies foresee a growth of 17 per cent on the home market.

It also states that many of the firms within the oil-cluster have ambitions to hire more staff in order to handle the increasing number of incoming orders.
