Online Applications Required For UK Points System Visas

High Commission of British announced that from coming Monday applicants who want to apply for UK visas under the points based system will need to file online application.  The UK Border Agency will no longer accept the manually filed applications.

A release from the High Commission said, “Online applications and appointments will be mandated for applications under Tiers 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the points based system.  This means the applicants will need to submit the application form by visiting the website.

After submitting the application online they need to take a print of their application form and book an appointment with nearest Visa Application Centre.

The release also stated that, “It is now mandatory to book an appointment online. They should carry this printout while visiting the Visa Application Centre, along with the necessary supporting documentation.”  It will save the time of the applicants.
