Ontario Accepting Exployer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream Applications

Ontario immigration has published that it is allowing applications for the Foreign Worker Stream in Employer Job Offer. As of 27 August 2019, applicants can submit appeals by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program's e-filing portal.

Important specifications for the stream comprise a full-time employment offer beneath NOC 0, A or B and two years of appropriate work experience.

The category of Ontario Employer Job Offer substituted the former category of Employer Pre-Screened with the important difference being that the applicant, not the employer, manages the process of application. Eligibility Requirements for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

To qualify below this stream, candidates need to have:

• A permanent & full-time employment offer below NOC 0, A or B that satisfies the median wage levels for the province of Ontario, and in a place that is vital to the business.
• Two collective years of related work experience in the preceding five years prior to the application date.
• Relevant compulsory licensing in Ontario, if the job requires.
• Live overseas, or be studying, working, or visiting Canada on a valid permit.
• Intention to live in the province of Ontario.

Below the stream, companies must also meet certain requirements:

• Been actively working for the prior three years.
• Comply with all the job, health &safety laws.
• If residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA): a minimum of CAD 1,000,000 in gross revenue annually and five full-time workers who are citizens of Canada or permanent residents of Canada.
• If residing outside GTA: a minimum of CAD 500,000 in gross revenue annually and three full-time workers who are citizens of Canada or permanent residents of Canada
• Prove recruitment efforts if the appellant is residing outside Canada or Ontario. If the appellant is presently working in Ontario, this demand is waived.
