Ontario Immigraiton Changes In Requirements For Express Entry Stream

Ontario Province has made an important change in the requirements for its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream. In the past, it had a minimum C.R.S. score of 400 for qualifying in the categories linked to Express Entry, But with this recent change the minimum score can now be determined by the director. This change has taken place after the two draws, in which the minimum score was 350 on August 9^th and 351 on March 28^th respectively. Moreover, in these largest draws totally 1,726 candidates received the invitation.

In the present year so far, 3,534 candidates have received invitations in the popular HCP stream.

The qualifying Requirements for applicants, of Ontario’s EE HCP stream, are having:

• A Pending application in the EE system;
• full time one year , or equivalent work experience in N.O.C. occupation level 0/ A or B;
• Bachelors/Masters degree or PhD that is equivalent to a Canadian degree ;
• Minimum CLB of 7 in IELTS;
• A wish for living in Ontario;
• Finally, a Minimum E.E C.R.S. score which are fixed by director.

The Ontario HCP aims at skilled workers wishing to live and work in Ontario.

The qualifying Candidates for the E.E. system get the Ontario nomination based on work experience, education, language proficiency and other factors. The province favors such candidates having the ability to quickly integrate into the labor market. The federal allocation for 2018 in O.I.N.P. is 6,600 nominations. The province accepts applications in the immigration streams as mentioned below.
