Ontario To Resume Issuance Of NOIs For Express Entry

The government of Ontario has announced to resume the issuance of the Notifications of Interest (NOIs) during the week of 10-14th April to all those who meet the eligibility criteria for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. The Notifications of Interest will be issued to all the eligible applicants falling in the Express Entry pool. Adding to it, as per the government, the Notifications of Interest’s will be given from time to time throughout the year till the province reaches its cap for the year.

The Human Capital Priorities Stream lets the applicants submit their profile into the federal Express Entry pool, who are invited by the Ontario under the Provincial Nominee Program to submit their application for the Ontario Immigration Nomination Program. On successful addition to the Express Entry profile, the applicant is entitled to receive 600 additional CRS ranking points, making the applicant lead others in the queues, who are waiting for their selection in a subsequent Express Entry Draw.

The Ontario government has given certain strategic advice to the prospective candidates applying for the program. Also, the government is encouraging them “to create a new profile in the Express Entry (EE) system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search of the federal government’s Express Entry pool.” Applicants who are willing to have a revised application with the suggested modifications have to delete the previous Express Entry profile and create a new one. This will require re-registering with the Canada’s Job Bank for all those applicants who do not have any job offer with them.
