PEI Immigration: Plans To Conduct Next EOI Draw On November 21

Prince Edward Island provincial immigration will attend a new draw by the province’s Expression of Interest system on 21 November 2019 Thursday.

The draw will aim at skilled workers & also entrepreneur immigration applicants through Prince Edward Island PNP’s Express Entry, Business Impact, and Labour Impact streams.

PEI province launched its system of Expression of Interest at the beginning of the year 2018 and has conducted regular draws ever since.

In the 10 draws conducted so far in the year 2019, PEI province has invited 1,345 applicants, it comprises of 1,177 invitations issued mainly by the Labour Impact or Express Entry categories and 168 invitations issued with the Business Impact category.

Prince Edward Island PNP Immigration Draws in 2019

PEI province issued 1,446 invitations during 2018, the initial year it managed a system of Expression of Interest. In those 1,240 invitations went to Labour Impact or Express Entry categories, with the outstanding 206 invitations went to the Business Impact category.

The biggest draw held on 18 Oct 2018, where 297 applicants were received invitations.

PEI Express Entry Stream

This stream operates by considering applicants who are already in the Express Entry Pool for a nomination from the province.

If you receive a nomination that adds 600 CRS points to a candidate’s score and dramatically guarantees an ITA for Canada PR.

This Category features 2 pathways to Canadian PR, one for aspirants with a job offer and one for aspirants without a job offer.

PEI Labour Impact Stream

1) Skilled Worker Stream

This is an employer-driven stream that provides skilled professionals with a job offer in PEI province to be nominated for Canadian PR if they meet the eligibility criteria.

2) Critical Worker Stream

This stream is intended to resolve labor shortages and is open to immigrant workers who are already in P.E.I province with a job in specific critical demand professions.

PEI Business Impact Stream

Work Permit Stream

People applying beneath the P.E.I. Work Permit Stream need to obtain a work permit of Canada and work for a P.E.I. the employer for a specific amount of time as provided in a Performance Agreement.

Following the Performance Contract is satisfied, the appellant must make a $150,000 investment which is minimum in the business and dedicate to operating the business daily within P.E.I.
