Potential Immigrants Are The Biggest US Innovators

The recent study has revealed the astonishing facts related to the immigrant innovators who have made a significant contribution to the USA in research and development of technology-based companies.

There are totally 40% of tech firms owned by the immigrants or children of immigrants which add great value to the US economy and creates large scale employment to the youth of the country. According to the survey report of ITIF (Information Technology and Innovation Foundation), 35.5 percent of US innovators are from outside America who entered US through the STEM program.

The study conducted on 923 individuals for phenomenal achievements in their respective fields and filed patents for their innovations. The immigrant population in the USA contributes 13.5 %; this is quite high when compared to the native born citizens.

The author of the report says that “we are dependent on immigrants with science and technology expertise.”The US IT sector is for the potential immigrants who come to the US on H1B visas; they consider them as highly qualified to the fill the vacant jobs in the companies.

The foreign-born natives are highly skilled compared to the locals of US. It is the subject science that is easily transferrable between the countries. It is the healthy eco-system of the USA to pursue research and Higher Education in the USA.
