Quebec Skilled Worker Candidates May Need To Update Online Applications

The applicants who have submitted their applications through Quebec Skilled Worker Program for migrating to Canada now need to update their information in their online application. The announcement was made by Quebec’s Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversitéet de l’Inclusion (the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion, or MIDI)

The MIDI has notified that the applicants may require to:

Keep their contact information updated
Modify their relationship status (add or remove) (spouse or dependent child) if the status has changed since the application was first submitted.
Add diplomas or testimony of the assessment test results of knack in French or English recognized by the MIDI;
Add information regarding their family members staying in Quebec.

Furthermore, if any applicant has under-taken a language test after the submission of his/her profile then he/she needs to update those language test results so that the revised score can be considered under QSWP. The QWSP just like FSW functions on a points-based system. The language ability in French and/or English is one of the mandatory selection criteria for which points are awarded.

All applicants applying successfully through the Mon Projet Québec will be receiving a CSQ, with which they can then apply for permanent resident status.
