Quebec To Welcome 50000 Immigrants In Next Two Years

Quebec Immigration Minister, Kathleen Weil, announced that the Quebec will attract 50 000 potential immigrants in the next two years. In the previous month while announcing the new immigration plan for Quebec, “Together, we are Quebec”, the Government announced the immigration levels in Quebec could reach a new height of 60000 potential immigrants in the Quebec.

Quebec also announced investor program for the potential business investors. Quebec is planning to revamp the whole system of immigration in the similar lines of the active Canada Express Entry. The attempt is to make the system online and active, the streamlined application management system to welcome the most skilled professionals. It is essential for the Quebec to welcome skilled professionals to counter the demographic related issues. 

On April 6 the bill 77 came into effect, the applicants need to submit the expression of interest to work and live in the Quebec province of the Canada. 

Quebec immigration has vital place in the Canada Immigration. Quebec a French speaking majority had a special agreement with the Federal Canada to invite migrants based on its own requirement. Quebec lays much emphasis on the French language, and the immigrants with French language proficiency are given priority over other candidates.

Quebec wants to remain active in the competitive world in the growth chart and progressive in walks of life. The Quebec will begin application intake for the year 2016, from June 13 to June 20 through Federal Skilled Worker Program.
