Recent British Columbia PNP Draw Issues 191 ITAs For Canada PR

The British Columbia Government announced 191 latest invitations to apply for a nomination form the province of British Columbia to Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) candidates in a latest draw conducted on 23 July 2019.

The recent invitations published through the Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia went to Skills Immigration applicants in 3 categories: International Graduate, Skilled Worker, and Semi-Skilled or Entry-Level Worker.

Applicants in the Express Entry BC Skilled Workers and Global Graduate categories are also obtained invitations. The exact breakdown of ITAs (Invitations to Apply) in these five categories was not given.

The categories in Express Entry BC are open to immigration applicants with a profile in the Canadian Express Entry system, which operates the pool of applicants for Canadian Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and the Canadian Experience Class all these categories are the main categories in economic immigration of Canada.

An extra 600 points are added to Federal Express Entry applicants' Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score after they are accepted for a nomination from the Canadian province.

Skills Immigration applicants who obtain a nomination will have their Canadian PR appeals processed federal Express Entry system outside.

Applicants Need to Register in BC PNP’s SIRS

Global nationals who would want to be reviewed by either the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC streams have to initially register an online profile with the Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia (BC PNP) with the System of Skills Immigration Registration (SIRS).

System of Skills Immigration Registration is a points-based system practiced by the British Columbia PNP to assess candidates based on parameters like educational background or qualification, authorized work experience and skill in the languages of English or French. The 23 July 2019 draw had the least score range within 80 and 110 points.
