In the recent draw conducted on 28 May by British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot issued a sum of 63 applicants was invited to appeal for nomination from the province. The invited applicants belonged to Express Entry BC Foreign Graduate, Express Entry BC- Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration- International Graduate and Skilled Worker categories of British Columbia PNP. The invited applicants from all immigration streams were expected to have the least score of 90 points. The draw of British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot principally targeted skilled workers and foreign graduates with experience and skills in IT professions.

In the former Tech Pilot draw took place on 21 May issued 234 invitations over 05 streams of the Provincial Nomination Program of British Columbia. The minimum required score was 75 for workers in the stream of Entry Level and Semi-skilled, while straight provincial skilled workers demanded to have minimum 95 points. For Express Entry International Graduates and Skilled Workers, Skills Immigration-International graduates require a minimum score of 105.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot was begun in 2017 to give preference to the IT workers by the current British Columbia immigration streams. The Pilot has presently been continued into 2019. To be qualified, the applicant should have a full-time employment offer with a minimum 1-year term from a British Columbia firm, besides satisfying other criteria. The employment offer needs to be for one of the 29 listed occupations and need to be valid for a minimum of 120 days while submitting the application.
