Requirements For Studying In Austria

When a candidate fulfils the necessities for the application process of Austria Student Visa, the university will inform the candidate about entering the examination that needs to be taken for the Visa.

The Visa process for non-EU foreign students is different to the EU students. The essential documents that need to be submitted at the Austrian embassy would be, the application form; passport; birth certificate; proof of monetary funds including accommodation, maintenance and cost of study abroad in Austria; photograph (passport sized); copy of health insurance; letter of admission from the university and proof of accommodation and a few more.

Within the first three functioning days of entering Austria, every person must register with the municipal authorities.

Upon submitting the application, the applicants are also obliged to submit a copy of their passport. Original passports would simply be compulsory for verification. The embassy reserves the right for inquiring any other form of verification. Incomplete applications would not be acknowledged. Visa processing is contingent upon the nationality of the applicant. All guidelines, consular services or fees are subject to alteration without any previous announcement.
