Saskatchewan Holds A New Provincial Draw And Targets 100 Occupations

Saskatchewan immigration conducted the Expression of Interest draw, and also invited 769 candidates in two provincial streams.
The draw held on September 25 was the first after Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program expanded the list of eligible occupations, to 218 from 19. It included the Occupations In-Demand as well as Express Entry streams and the province published a list of 100 National Occupational Classification codes as its target.
In the Occupations In-Demand, the province issued 404 invitations, at a score of just 70 points.
In its Express Entry there were 365 invitations with a score of just 79.

Obtaining the proper Saskatchewan license if it is a field requirement

Requirements for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category
Candidates hailing from outside areas of Canada, or those who have a legal status within Canada, can qualify for this category, when they are not claiming refugee status
In addition the candidates must do the following:

Creating an Express Entry profile have a profile number and also the relevant job seeker validation code;

Scoring 60 points on the point assessment grid;

Providing language test results that are valid from a testing agency that matches with the profile in Express Entry;

Completing one year of education (post-secondary), training or apprenticeship that is comparable to the education system in Canada and earning a degree/ diploma, or certificate
-
Degrees/diplomas from other countries must have Educational Credential Assessment;

One year work experience during the last ten years in a skilled profession of non-trade category, and
-
Work experience (Two years) in a skilled trade in the last five years; or
-
Canadian work experience (One year) in the last three years in a trade and non-trade category
-
Work experience in eligible high-skill occupations figuring in N-O-C- A, B, 0

Obtaining the proper Saskatchewan license if it is a field requirement

For all skilled trades, the certificate is a requisite issued by the Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission in Saskatchewan.
