The Saskatchewan's Immigrant Nominee Program (S.I.N.P) sent out a sum of 576 invitations to apply (ITA) to applicants in the Express Entry Category and Occupations In-Demand Category on 27 February 2020.
To be selected, applicants need to submit a profile of Expression of Interest (E.O.I) with the SINP. By the EOI system, the SINP issues invitations to immigration applicants that have the capability to thrive in the province after receiving an invitation they can apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR.
Interested aspirants must generate an EOI profile and prove their capacity to settle in Saskatchewan province by listing their skilled work experience, educational background, language proficiency, age, and links to the province.
The SINP uses these 5 factors to evaluate candidates and provide them a score out of 100 points in the International Skilled Worker Evaluation Points Grid.
The top scorers have then announced with an ITA for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR. The minimum required score on the 27 February 2020 draw was 69 points for both Categories.
No offer of a job is required to secure an invitation from Saskatchewan province. However, applicants required a minimum of one year of work experience in a qualified skilled occupation associated with their area of study.
In the recent invitation round, Saskatchewan PNP issued 301 invitations to apply to applicants who had profiles in the pool of federal Express Entry.
This category is connected to the Canadian Express Entry system, which controls the pool of applicants for 3 Canadian principal economic immigration programs.
If aspirants in the pool of federal Express Entry also provided an E.O.I for a Saskatchewan’s provincial nomination and they secured a 69 points score on the SINP’s Points Evaluation Grid they may have been chosen on 27 February 2020 draw.
This category is for immigration aspirants who are not having a profile in the federal Express Entry.
275 applicants were invited to apply for a Saskatchewan’s provincial nomination for Canada PR, and similar to the Express Entry Category, candidates require securing a provincial score of 69 points in order to be selected.
