The Saskatchewan Government issued 595 invitations to Express Entry applicants and Occupations In-Demand applicants to apply for a nomination from Saskatchewan for Canada PR.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee (SINP) Program conducted the draws on 20 December 2019. While there is no requirement of the job offer in order to qualify, applicants required to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the S.I.N.P. Among other requirements, they also required to have a minimum of 1-year work experience in a qualified skilled profession related to their area of study.
Applicants with qualified EOI profiles are given a score out of 100 points based on the SINP’s Global Skilled Worker Points Evaluation Grid. It is the scoring system that considers human capital parameters such as age, educational level, relevant skilled work experience, skill in the languages of English or French, and attachments to Saskatchewan.
The score defines the candidate’s rank in the S.I.N.P’s EOI pool and the top-scoring applicants are announced with invitations to apply by regular draws.
A sum of 304 ITAs issued on 20 December went to applicants who had their profiles in the Canadian Express Entry pool.
This sub-category is connected with the Canadian Express Entry system, which controls the pool of contestants for three Canadian principal economic immigration classes: Federal Skilled Trades Class, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Worker Class.
If appellants in the federal Express Entry pool filled out an E.O.I for Saskatchewan immigration, and if they secure 69 points score in the SINP’s Points Evaluation Grid and they may have been chosen in the most recent invitation round.
This sub-category is accessible to immigration applicants who don’t have an Express Entry profile in federal Express Entry pool.
291 Occupations In-Demand applicants invited to appeal for a nomination from the province, and similar to the Express Entry sub-category, applicants required a provincial score of 69 points in order to be selected.
The 20 December draw announced invitations to applicants in 96 professions. Few of these in-demand professions involve corporate sales supervisors and managers, finance workers & insurance office workers; and paralegals.
