• Visa appeals for SA can now be given via courier, preferably than in person.
• Biometrics will solely be obtained on the entry in SA.
• 05-year infinite entry visas will also be given.

Update on Critical skills

By Apr 2019, Department of Home Affairs will have an updated critical skills list for immigrants. However, they are expected to add further fields of the professions to the list, welcoming for a wider skilled range and important migrant workers.

Importantly, global students who graduated from SA university courses associated with the shortlist of critical skills will be given the opportunity to appeal for South African permanent residency.
