SkillSelect Invitation Round Held on May 2019 for Subclass 189 and 489

The Australia Home Affairs have announced the below information:
 
The total invitations announced in the SkillSelect invitation round conducted on 9 May 2019 is 110. For Skilled Independent (subclass 189) visa the number of Invitations announced is 100, and for Skilled Regional (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa the number of Invitations issued is 10.
 

Process of Invitation and Cut-offs

The top-ranked clients by points score are encouraged to appeal for the appropriate visa. For customers who have the equal points scores, the time at which they obtained their points score for that specific subclass (referred to as the effective date) defines their invitation order. Expressions of Interest with past dates of effect are called prior to the later dates.

The effect cut off dates and minimum Point scores for the pro-rata professions in the invitation round Conducted on 9 May 2019.
 
Due to tremendous levels of demand, and in keeping with prior years, the below profession groups will be directed to pro-rata arrangements to assure the invitations availability over the program year.
 
SkillSelect primarily allots available positions to Skilled – Independent (subclass 189) visas and then the outstanding to Skilled – Regional (Provisional)  (subclass 489) visas. If all positions are taken up by the Skilled Independent (subclass 189) visas, then there will be no calls announced for Skilled Regional (subclass 489) provisional visas in these professions.
