South Africa Saw A Record Number Of 3 Million Travelers In August 2012

South African entry ports saw around 3-million travelers in August. The numbers have again proved that SA is ranked as one of the most favorite tourist destinations in world.

Majority of the tourists were for holidays, while some were for business visits and others for short term study courses. Tourists were from all over the world, but most of them were from Middle East & South Africa. There were significant number of tourists from Asia and the Middle East for business purposes compared to other abroad regions.

South Africa Immigration issues a tourist visa for foreign nationals who want to visit South Africa for a temporary period for tourism, business visit or short term study courses.

Valid passport & adequate funds are mandatory for getting a visa approval for South African tourism.
