Switzerland To Grant 1000 Additional Work Permits For Foreign Nationals

One of the world’s most beautiful countries Switzerland has come up with news of welcoming 1000 more Non-European workers. The announcement by the government is creating a new ray of hope among the people who love to work abroad.  It’s really a great relief to all those individuals who are feeling pressurized by the anti-immigrant moves of the other top economies of the world.

According to the release from official sources, 7,500 B and L permit would be available to non-EU workers. The move helps all those industries which largely rely on foreign talent. 

In 2014, the Switzerland used to grant 8500 (B and L) work permits to skilled workers from non-European countries. When the immigration reforms the numbers dropped to 6,500.

But, the anti-immigrant move has created a kind of fear atmosphere among few cities of Switzerland that multi-national companies might move to other locations.

The Federal Council, based on the demand for highly qualified professionals, increased the work permits by 1000. But, the industry sources say, that the improved numbers may not meet the requirements of a workforce.

The demand for highly qualified individuals is very high in the software industry and pharmaceutical industries of the Switzerland.
