The Indian Students Can Add Value To The Australian Economy

In Australia, the  Student visa requirement needs to be made simple as well as straightforward while focusing as how the value and the experience of the Indian student can benefit the nation’s economy, Joy Burch, ACT, Australian Capital Territory, Minister for education has stated.

In Kochi, in chat with media on Monday, during her tour to India, Ms Burch has said that, Australia is denying ourselves an opportunity of not making this a more straightforward and simple matter and it recognizes that there are absolute benefits and that’s what we require to concentrate.

Explaining that, federal government’s visa concerns of Australia are around documentation and duration of their stay of the Indian Students in Australia. Ms Burch stated that the nation needed to streamline the job opportunities beyond study visa and need to make the workplace experience so strong that the employment needs to be strengthened.

Agreeing that Australia need to work through it various visa hurdles,When asked about the job opportunities emerging in Canberra, MS Burch stated that were around significant number of opening for the nursing talents from India, especially the Kerala.

The other opportunity is national disability insurance scheme which needs to be rolled out across Australia by the year 2019. It has opened up various opening in the disability care and also personal care. This particular scheme has moved to an entitlement scheme that anyone who is deemed to be eligible for insurance funding do get a level of funding whatever, city, state or age . she said.

Ms Burch stated, Canberra has also required skilled hands in the allied health services which include occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech therapists.
