The UK Announces New Visa Services To Indian Nationals

United Kingdom’s Immigration Minister Brokenshire on his five-day visit to India announced series of improvised visa services to Indian citizens. The minister also has expressed intention to launch a new visa application centre in Lucknow, the India’s most populous state.

The high priority visa services of United Kingdom expanded to students, visitors and professionals on work visas. Improvised services such as the same day, super-priority visa services apply to the first time visitors and work permits. The visa applicants can take fast decisions on Travelling to the UK with the three to five-day priority visa service.

The United Kingdom considers as a huge market for the visitors. The new online priority service will available to the visitors from this month end. Besides, facilitating the Indians with priority services, the applicants for holiday visas can also apply for the Schengen visas through the newly introduced online system.

Indians travelling to the UK has increased by 17 Percent and UK is planning to improve its visa service to the Indian market.

On February 16, UK’s Hyderabad Deputy High Commissioner McAllister has opened UK and Ireland’s visa application centre in Hyderabad.
