Brexit a referendum to stay in the European Union or not will be held on June 23 by the UK Government. All the citizens aged above 18 will be allowed to take part in the referendum. The citizens of the common wealth countries living in the United Kingdom can also vote in the poll.
This referendum will decide the future of the United Kingdom. The mass migration from the European Union is affecting the United Kingdom public services, and the rate of unemployment is rising rapidly. The less decision-making power due to the free movement of citizens of the European Union countries is not allowing the United Kingdom to take any policy initiatives.
After a long consultation process with the other European Union countries, Britain Prime Minister David Cameroon has planned to conduct a referendum on exiting from the EU. People in various opinion polls also felt that the immigration has become burdensome to the UK economy. The UK wants to maintain the disciplined immigration policy which would be possible only if they are free from the controls of the European Union.
The free movement of immigration does not prevent immigration and the border policies. If they the UK is outside of the European Union, based on the dialogue and debate UK possibly adopts different immigration policies that can benefit the economy of the United Kingdom.
The UK can import skills based on the requirement of the labor market needs. More controls on border mean, freedom to control unlawful migration. Encouraging UK born people to the employment as the highest priority.
