The US-Bordered Canada Provinces Attracting More Immigrants

The recent Canada Express Entry annual report has revealed a new trend of migration into the Canada. Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario provinces are the top choice of the economic immigrants who are highly qualified and entered the Canada provinces to join the Canadian workforce.

Surprisingly all the Canada provinces share a common boundary with the United States. Both the United States and Canada have good relations; both the North-American countries have a well-organized system of immigration, and presently, Canada has more stringent point based system that attracts more qualified professionals.

Both the countries have a history of welcoming a good number of immigrants and the modern culture of inviting economic immigrants benefited both the Canada and the United States.

Alberta received 7996; Ontario received 7348, and British Columbia-4384, these are the provinces with the highest number of immigrants. The Canada Express Entry Scheme totally invited over 30,000 permanent residence invitations in 2015. 21,562 economic immigrants were granted permanent residence in 12 months between January 2015 and January 2016.

The Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and other provinces are also active in attracting a good number of skilled professionals.
