The US Embassy In India Hosts Session On Student Visas

A session to share the information regarding the US student visa process was conducted on last Saturday by the United States Embassy in India at the United States-India Education Foundation office.

As per the social media handle of the United States embassy, approximately 60 students who have taken admission at the University of South Carolina, attended the  along with their parents, attended the session conducted by visa officers of the embassy.

During the interactive session, the immigration officers of the US Embassy described in detail the entire visa application process to the students and their parents. Further to it they even answered all their queries related to the F-1 and J visas.

As per the recent figures shared by the India’s External Affairs Ministry, the United States of America has the maximum number of Indian students pursuing higher education under the international student category. The report also mentions that out of the total of 4.4 million Indian students studying across the 75 countries; nearly 165,918 are pursuing their education in the United States of America.
