UK Government Announces Easy Visa Process For Web Designers And Architects

The UK government on 09 Sept 2019 included architects, web designers and veterinarians in a list of occupations that face a deficit in the United Kingdom and which involves more relaxed visa norms to enable employers to hire the required talent.

New Occupations Added in the UK Shortage Occupation List

The three occupations have been added in the shortage occupations list. It is simpler to obtain a UK Tier 2 visas for an occupation or position mentioned in the list because firms do not require completing a resident labor market examination and are also excluded from the minimum required salary thresholds.

The Home Office announced that the reforms suggest that companies can advertise job openings for the professions involved to all nationalities, producing it more comfortable for them to access the global talent they require. Professionals from India are previously given a majority of work visas announced: 52% of all visas announced in 2018.
