The UK government on 20 Dec 2019 confirmed plans to launch a new visa for eligible doctors & nurses from nations around the globe, including India, to overcome workforce deficits in the state-funded National Health (N.H.S) Service.
Boris Johnson, UK Prime Minister had made recommendations to new NHS visa on the election campaign trail, which was approved as part of the Queen’s Speech in the Parliament on 20 Dec 2019, the regular process of Queen Elizabeth II setting out the agenda of the parliamentary by newly-elected UK prime minister commanded Conservative government.

An accompanying UK government announcement paper elaborates that below its “NHS People Plan", eligible nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals with a valid employment offer from the NHS, and also who have been trained at a recognized measure, will be granted fast-track entry, decreased visa fees and special support to come to the U.K.
The UK government has declared that its latest visa and immigration system, which will be in place post-Brexit once UK has left from the European Union (EU) in 2020, as it would place skilled migrants from throughout the globe at par once the EU’s right of movement rules no longer appeal to the U.K.
These modifications will be incorporated in a new Environment Bill, along with the above 30 bills declared in the Queen's Speech, 7 of which correlate to Brexit.
