The American Department of Homeland Security [DHS] is aiming to bring new regulations for the employment based US immigration programs. This proposal is to facilitate the immigrants and employers under the economic immigration programs of the US to attract the most qualified professionals to work in the country.
The new laws will render life easier to the highly- skilled professionals who joined American workforce. The suggested changes are in response to the US President Barack Obama's directive issued in the month of November 2014. The new reforms will benefit skilled immigrant workers waiting for green card processing with the temporary visa in the US.
The new changes allow the American employers to retain the skilled professionals and recruit them according to their requirement. The DHS says that the proposed new reforms enable skilled professionals to advance in the careers by taking promotions, changing employers and can look for better opportunities. The new changes will fix the issues related to economic immigrants in the USA.
All the visas under employment-based visa category will take a new form and will attract a large number of qualified professionals to live and work in the USA. Enabling professionals to apply for Green card and stay longer in the US.
