US Visas Still On High Demand

A global survey into migration trends by Gallup found that moving to the US is still the top dream among migrants. The research was based on interviews of 350,000 adults in 148 countries between 2007 and 2010.

The survey showed that Singapore is still on top in terms of numbers migrating into the country. And, US comes 14^th on the net migration list despite being the preferred destination. The population of US would swell by 60 percent if US visa is granted to everyone who wanted to gain. The survey also found that there were many migrants interested to move to South Africa.

Many people from some countries such as Haiti and Zimbabwe, and others in Africa and Latin America are interested to move abroad which could result a fall in population.
