USA Tourism Targets Tourists From Tier II Tier III Indian Cities

Growing Indian markets, travel and tour agencies and owners of hotel chains are promoting USA tourism to lure more Indian tourists.

As the number of Indian youth doing job in USA grows, the operators expect that families, parents and kins will take holiday packages to spend time in USA. These affluent professionals from tier-II and III Indian cities would buy USA holiday packages to visit USA and at the same time meet their near and dear ones.

The cities that are getting attention after the metros are Hyderabad, Vizag, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur and other Indian cities.

“Most travelers do not come on first time trips. We are aware that India is a price-sensitive market. Accordingly we offer packages to suit the budget of every segment,” says Vartika Chaturvedi, business development manager (South India) of Globus family of brands.

“Tourist arrivals from India are on the rise. We have wide bouquet of offers – whether it is New York, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas and Alaska. Some even prefer self-driven trips in popular travel destinations,” she says. “After West India, we are getting more visitors from South India,” she discloses.
