Visa Processing Fee To US To Be Adjusted

 The visa processing fees are to be adjusted with effect from April 13^th, 2012 according to US Authorities. The visa fees for non-immigrants visa applications that of the Border Crossing Cards will be increased, whereas the fee for E-Visas (for treaty-traders as well as treaty investors) and K visas (visa for fiancées of citizens of US) will decrease. Also, all fees pertaining to immigration processing will be on the decrease.

Another move taken by the US embassy situated in New Delhi had announced its plans to expand Interview Waiver Pilot Program under which certain applicants were interviewed as well thoroughly screened and being in conjunction with an earlier visa application which may have the eligibility to renew the visas without having to undergo another interview.

The new move allows applicants who happen to be eligible who are presently applying for B1/B2 and those earlier B1/B2 expired within a span of last period of 48 months or perhaps is still valid; also applicants who apply for a C1/D, J2, L2 or perhaps H4 visa and whose prior visa is also in the same category had expired within last 12 months or perhaps is still valid are also eligible to apply for newer visa without an interview.

Eligibility requirements:

• The applicant’s previous visa must be in the same category as the visa that he or she is applying for renewal
• The applicant’s earlier visa must have been issued in India
• The applicant must also apply in the consular district that he or she would like the passport delivered
• Also the applicant must not actually have any refusals for visa in any of the category after the issuance of most recent visa
