Western Australia Designated Area Migration Agreement To Strat In June

The designated area migration agreement (D.A.M.A) programme has been designed to increase the workforce policies of territories, states, and regions, to promote economic performance and assist them to adjust to varying economic conditions.
The D.A.M.A is a two-tier contract: the first tier comprises of an overarching 05-year record of agreement with a selected area representative setting out professions, concessions and ceilings; and the second tier involving individual labor contracts with direct companies.
D.A.M.As build collaborative systems, with distributed roles and responsibilities, within the Government of Australia and state or regional and territory authorities.
The overarching DAMA nature enables organizations with streamlined access to a wider range of abroad workers than possible through the standard programme of subclass 482 visa, without the requirement to personally negotiate terms and conditions. D.A.M.As are engaging to small companies which may not have the resources to produce a labor contract straight with the government.
Goldfields D.A.M.A
The Kalgoorlie-Boulder City and the Government of Australia have reached contract on the Goldfields D.A.M.A, which was accepted by Citizenship, Immigration, and Multicultural Affairs Minister, David Coleman, in Mar 2019.
The Goldfields D.A.M.A is a 05-year labor agreement between the Australian Government, the Kalgoorlie-Boulder City and the Shires of Leonora, Coolgardie, and Menzies. The Goldfields D.A.M.A intends to bring skilled migrants to live and work in Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Kambalda, Menzies, Leonora, Ora Banda and Kookynie enabling Goldfield's organizations to sponsor skilled abroad workers in designated industries that are presently experiencing critical skill and labor deficits.
The Goldfields D.A.M.A secured 72 professions over many industries. These are not only restricted to the industry of mining. The recommended list of skilled workers involves jobs such as hospitality supervisors, childcare workers, and disability worker to assist and fill the skill deficits in these industries.
