In The Entrepreneur draw 32 candidates received Invitations to Apply and the candidate with the lowest rank had a score of 116 points.

 

Moreover, in the previous draw, held on June 26 2018, 22 candidates received Invitations to Apply and the candidate with the lowest rank had a score of 120.

 

As a rule the highest number of invitations in the monthly draw is 36, and the minimum score is 90.

The NS Entrepreneur stream attracts candidates having business ownership or an experience in senior management. They need to reside in Nova Scotia; or start a new business or buy an existing one.  Additionally they must participate actively in the daily management of business.

In the Entrepreneur stream, candidates first get the temporary work permit prior to applying for Canada PR after running the business for one year. There is also an Expression of Interest format, in the stream and candidates existing in a pool receive the invitation to apply.

Qualifications for the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream

• Attending Personal Interview and signing Business Performance Agreement
• Obtaining Work Permit and Establishing Business in Nova Scotia
• Request for Nomination
• Finally, applying for Permanent Residence

Entrepreneur Stream: Requirements for Candidate

•  An age of 21 or above
• Intention to reside permanently and owning and managing a Nova Scotia business actively
• Having a net worth of $600,000
• Investing  $150,000 for establishing/purchasing a business in Nova Scotia
• Three years experience owning and managing a Nova Scotia business actively with an ownership of 33 percent OR having five years experience as a senior business manager
• Finally scoring minimum of 5 on the CLB in English/French,

Also, on August 7^th 2018, there was a draw for International Graduate Entrepreneur stream in which only one candidate received with an Invitation to Apply, after scoring 47 points.

In it totally 14 candidates got the invitation to apply so far.
