OINP - Focusing On Internaitonal Students Through Graduate Streams

Ontario maintains the category of Human Capital to focus on international students and international workers who hold the work experience,  education, and skills needed to establish themselves in the Ontario province successfully.

Below this category, O.I.N.P runs 02 international students-connected streams:

• Master's graduates
• Ph.D. graduates

To be considered below one of these streams, enthusiastic applicants must have studied in the province of Ontario, under programs available.

Job offers from employers of Ontario are not needed for certain streams.

Requirements for Eligibility

Masters Graduates Stream

This stream gives a chance to get PR to foreign students who obtained a masters degree in the Province of Ontario without demanding a job offer. To be qualified to appeal, an applicant should meet the criteria for Masters Graduates Stream.

Ph.D. Graduates Stream

This stream gives foreign students a chance to become a permanent resident for who holds a Ph.D. degree from the province of Ontario without expecting a job offer. To be qualified to appeal, an applicant should meet the criteria for Ph.D. Graduates Stream.

Process of Application

Enthusiastic applicants who satisfy the requirements should complete an online application below Ontario’s own O.I.N.P Portal of e-Filing and present all appropriate forms and verifying documentation.

A processing fee of $1500 is charged for appeals presented below these streams. If the application is accepted, the applicant will get a Letter of Nomination and should appeal for PR with I.R.C.C within the succeeding six months.
